Today, Queen Elizabeth II died. Although this hasn’t come as a huge surprise, it has saddened me. I liked the Queen. She was thrown into a position that she wasn’t meant to have. And she had to deal with some controversial members of her family. It feels very weird, like it hasn’t happened. Charles has now become King Charles III, at the age of 73. Regardless of what people think of the royal family, this is a sad day.
